We are proud to announce that ServiceMaster Restoration & Cleaning has won the esteemed Angie’s List Super Service Award for the fifth consecutive year. Winning the award for 2016 is a significant achievement because the membership of Angie’s List grew significantly over the past year. Over 1.6 million members joined Angie’s List in 2016 to take advantage of the new free membership option. Earning this award after the unprecedented growth of consumer members shows our continued commitment to providing excellent customer service and consistently meeting the needs of our clients.
“Companies that can meet higher demands without missing a beat in their exemplary performance standards truly do stand apart from their peers,” according to Angie Hicks, founder of Angie’s List. “Only a fraction of the Damage Restoration companies in the Greater Houston Area were able to do it.”
There are certain requirements that a business must meet to earn the Angie’s List Super Service Award. These requirements include following Angie’s List operational guidelines, being in good standing with Angie’s List, passing a background check, and having an overall “A” service rating. This rating is determined by customer reviews that rate everything from prices to professionalism on an A through F scale and it is updated daily.

Until 2016, Angie’s List only allowed paid members access to verified customer reviews. Angie’s List now has a free membership option that allows non-paying members the same access. Despite fears that the quality of customer reviews and engagement level would decrease, these new members have shown that they are just as engaged as paying members and the review verification process continues to ensure quality customer reviews.
